Whistle & Fish

Saturday July 20, 7 pm

Whistle and Fish, an acoustic act with deep roots in bluegrass, perform a rich blend of traditional and original songs, ranging from bluegrass through Celtic, blues, and old time country. (Along with the odd John Prine song.)

Banjo player Will Parsons is an instructor in the traditional music program at Morehead State University, and a well-regarded mandolin maker. He spent about a decade in a similar position at Eastern Tennessee State University and has played professionally for the last twenty-five years with a number of acts.
